About Us

Diamond Factory Service is a locally owned business that provides appliance repairs to Brookfield and surrounding areas, such as Milwaukee, Port Washington, Racine and Oconomowoc. We provide in-home appliance repairs on all major home appliances including refrigerators, freezers, ranges, washers, dryers, dishwashers – you name it!

How will I know when to expect the technician?

In order to minimize the disruption to your day, we will schedule a three hour window with you when we will arrive. We will remind you one business day prior to your scheduled appointment as to when we plan to service your appliance. We can also give you a courtesy call 15 to 30 minutes prior to us arriving.

How do you charge for repairs?

Manufacturer warranty repair work is provided at no charge; however physical damage, customer education and other repairs not covered by a manufacturer’s warranty will be billed. Out of warranty repairs include three categories: Trip and Diagnosis, Repair Labor, and Parts. Trip and Diagnosis includes a visit to your home by a technician to diagnose what is wrong with your appliance and creating an estimate for the work. If we require more than one trip to diagnose or repair your appliance, the Trip and Diagnosis and Labor charges will only apply one time.

Is my appliance worth repairing?Toggle Title

Sometimes an appliance isn’t worth the money it will take to repair, and you may be better off purchasing a new one. We can run a full diagnostic check to determine if the cost of the repair is worth the value of the appliance. It’s then your choice whether to repair or replace the appliance. If you choose to replace the unit instead, you will be responsible for the Trip and Diagnostic fee.

Do I have to be home during the repair?

We cannot send a technician to a home without an adult being there during the repair, with the exception of some apartments and commercial settings. We offer flexible scheduling to ensure that we can make an appointment when you or another adult will be available to be home in order to answer questions.

Can I be sent a bill for my repair?

With few exceptions, we require payment upon completion of the repair, either by check or my credit card. You will receive an email confirmation with a receipt that will also show the work done and any other relevant charges. In some cases, we can set up a billing account with customers with whom we have a history and have had a credit application approved with our accounting team. Please contact our office for any questions!

When will my appliance be repaired?

Our goal is always to have your appliance repaired the first time a technician visits your home. A senior technician reviews your case before a repair technician is sent to your home in order to diagnose the problem prior to arriving. With thousands of parts in stock, chances are we have what is needed on hand! Depending on the make and model of your appliance, we should be able to have it repaired in one trip. However, if further trips are needed, you will only be charged for the first one.
